Business School
Located in the North Campus of Wenzhou University, Wenzhou Higher Education Park, the Business School has 106 faculty members, including 84 full-time teachers, 2 foreign teachers, 17 professors, 29 associate professors, 65 with doctoral degrees, 39 with overseas study experience, and 23 Oujiang Distinguished Professors. The School has 41 on-campus supervisors for postgraduate students and 51 off-campus supervisors for professional-pathway postgraduate students. Currently, there are more than 2,000 full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, and international students. The School consists of the Department of Finance, the Department of International Trade, the Department of Financial Management, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of International Teaching, the Experimental Teaching Center, and the Business School Training Center.
We offer five undergraduate programs in financial engineering, international trade, business administration, financial management and marketing for domestic students, and three programs for international students in international economy and trade, marketing, and business administration. Among them, financial engineering and international trade are rated as national first-class programs, business administration as a first-class program in Zhejiang Province, and international trade as a characteristic program in Zhejiang Province. We also offer postgraduate programs in applied economics, finance, and theory and practice of socialist market economy, and enroll both domestic and international students. Our discipline of applied economics is rated as a key and first-class (B) discipline in Zhejiang Province.
We value the power of research. The School has 1 key research base for humanities and social sciences of Zhejiang Province (Wenzhou Economic Research Center), 1 key research base for social sciences of Wenzhou City (Wenzhou Yangtze River Delta Integration Research Center), and 2 municipal research platforms (Wenzhou Financial Research Institute, World Wenzhou People Research Center), and 12 university-level research institutions.
In the past five years, our staff have undertaken over 100 projects of various types, including 1 national major project, 2 national key projects, and 18 national general projects. The research results were adopted by National Office for Philosophy and Social Science’s Report of Achievements and Chinese Journal of Social Sciences- Special Issue of National Social Science Fund. 46 papers were published or reprinted in authoritative and first-level journals such as Economic Research and Xinhua Digest, and 8 prizes were awarded in the realm of philosophy and social sciences in Zhejiang Province.
To align us with the international standard, we have become a member of the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative and have been accepted into the Business Graduates Association (BGA) as a Bronze Member.
Our Economics and Management Experimental Teaching Center is a provincial-level demonstration center. It undertakes 1 project under Research Ability Improvement Plan by the Ministry of Education, 2 Zhejiang Provincial Virtual Simulation Experiment Projects, and 1 Wenzhou University Virtual Simulation Experiment Project.

WZU Education Majors Achieve Sixth Place Nationwide in the 9th "Tian Jiabing Cup" National Teaching Skills Competition From December 29th to 31st, the finals of the 9th "Tian Jiabing Cup" National Teaching Skills Competition for education majors were held at Zhejiang Normal University.
