The Overseas Chinese College is an independent secondary college of Wenzhou University. Undertaking the discipline development, personnel training, and social services related to the study of overseas Chinese and overseas Chinese affairs, the College serves as an important window to showcase WZU’s efforts to build itself into a university supported by the Province and the Ministry with the overseas Chinese study as the characteristics. It offers interdisciplinary subjects of overseas Chinese and Chinese studies. The College fully leverages the local resources of Wenzhou, the big hometown of overseas Chinese, focuses on the situation in Europe, and carries out work in the three areas including overseas Chinese research, overseas Chinese culture, and overseas Chinese education.
