Our University Journal “Carbon Energy” is Successfully Included in SCIE

Release time: 2021-12-27

Recently our university journal Carbon Energy has officially been included in SCIE and the latest immediate impactor factor is 18.722. By summer time in 2022, Carbon Energy will welcome its first impactor factor after its first issue. This is another important international database that Carbon Energy has been included in after it has already been selected in ESCI, CAS and DOAJ, which shows that the international influence of Carbon Energy is fast increasing and the development of this periodical is entering a new chapter.

Carbon Energy is a flagship journal jointly established in 2018 by Wenzhou University and Wiley Publishing Group. It specializes in material, chemistry, environment, physics and interdisciplinary subjects and mainly focuses on cutting-edge subjects including carbon, carbon emission reduction, and clean energy. It not only emphasizes the dynamic integration of carbon and energy research, but also covers a range of frontier research subjects including carbon increase reaction under light-electro-heat catalysis and carbon emission reduction. It aims to grow into a high-end platform for displaying outstanding scientific research achievements at home and abroad, act as a booster for our national key scientific research strategy, and become a powerful tool for the majority of scientific researchers.

In September 2019, Carbon Energy published its first issue. In November in the same year, it was successfully listed in the “High-start New Journal” Program, an Outstanding Chinese Science Journals Action Plan launched jointly by China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, State Press and Publication Administration, Chinese Academy of Science, and Chinese Academy of Engineering. In September 2020, it was successfully granted CN public release number for domestic publications (32-180).

So far Carbon Energy has released 12 issues, which included a great number of excellent works by global experts and scholars in the field of carbon energy, including academician Shigang Sun from Xiamen University, academician Jiujun Zhang from Shanghai University, academician Shixue Dou from University of Wollongong in Australia, academician Liming Dai from Case Western Reserve University in the United States, academician Xueliang Sun from University of Western Ontario in Canada, academician Zhongwei Chen from University of Waterloo in Canada, Professor Yi Cui from Stanford University in the United States, and Khalil Amine, a researcher at Argonne National Laboratory in the United States. The published articles have been downloaded 200,000 times by scientific researchers from more than 120 countries.
